A lady reversed into my vehicle while i was stationery in a car park facility. Her tow bar caused alot of damages to the front my car. I went through all the motions of AR number, Photos, and quotes. The lady was very helpful and even assisted in getting her insurers (Outsurance) to speed up the process. This did not help as Outsurance have a 6- 8 week period for processing claims. They also work with their own assessors, who quoted MORE than the quote i got for them from a reputable and well known panel place. In actual fact, their assessors deemed my car as a write off and the only amount to be paid out will be book value less salvage which is WAY less than what the damage to the car is and if i want a decent repair done to my car i will have to pay the difference.
Also they don't call you for feedback, i ran up my contract cell to find out how far the process is and what happens next. This is if you are lucky to speak to the agent assigned to your claim, else you have to wait or call again some other time.
The only thing i want them to do is have my car repaired even if it is a 2000 model Toyota. i have that car for 10 years and i kept it well conditioned.
