Poor service regarding account

Firstly my 5 year old son Mueen bank account was closed. this is a saving account.
went to Cape town branch to sort out issue. they say I must go to Lansdowne branch because that is where it was closed or account was opened. the manager also asked why did they close a saving account, with no notice.
so my wife went to Lansdowne and they said with out certified birth certificate cannot get my son funds. but we lost his birth certificate and only had copy. but will sort something out if I (father) come into bank.
so on saterday at Lansdowne branch the consultant tell me sorry bring certified copy. after I told him it was sorted out in week by my wife.
so I went to home affairs to get birth certificate. when at bank the info lady said was sorted out just needed to tell her for who it was. but I told consultant this and just sorry cannot help you.. I just felt I was given the run around.
