I was annoyed at a R 220 "#OVERLIMIT FEE" that appeared on my account due to an unexpected debit for the Discovery Miles programme. I might simply have left it at that, but I took the time to complain to Discovery Card for the first time in 10 years, feeling that, as a loyal customer, I should not be knocked around like that. To my surprise, the DiscoveryCard call centre agent apologised for the fee and refunded it within 24 hours.
Since I've had no reason to complain before, and the situation was resolved almost entirely to my satisfaction, I'd rate Discovery as one of the better service providers in South Africa.
