I bank with Fnb and on Monday (10/11/2013) at 11h46am I made a payment to another Fnb account holder, to my surprise? The money that I had paid was not reflecting in the Beneficiaries Account. I contacted the Silverton Branch who contacted Online Banking, Telephone Banking and Fnb Mobile Banking who said they could not assist with clearing the payment. Now if I had not known that Fnb to Fnb does not clear funds Immediately from Fnb to Fnb, I would have withdrawn the money from my account and paid it over by cash, however I did not know. I eventually spoke to Gerald Sibeko who then advised me that they could not assist me and I would have to wait 12hours for the payment to clear. I would like Fnb to reimburse for the time lost yesterday and explain to me why I had to wait so long for the payment to be cleared after I had given them permission to clear the funds. I am Unhappy and Disgusted with the Service Provided by Fnb and Embarrassed to belong to a Bank that has such Low Customer Service Standards. It goes against what Fnb promotes as they have not Helped me but made my life Harder!
