I got a bond from FNB last year, as part of the bond agreement they granted me a Flexi Bond facility. A few months later I opened an FNB account in order to use the facility. Before this, I was a happy Standard Bank customer and only switched to FNB SOLELY to use this facility. On applying for the facility, one Shenaaz Paulse responded stating that they granted the facility by mistake. WHAT!! When I queried it, she did not have answers and I asked to speak to her manager. I was transferred to Dianne Nkabinde who explained that my profile in the system was incorrect and I had not submitted the right documents. This was on 13/Dec/2012. I submitted the requested documents to her, Orenda Haniff & Shenaaz Paulse the next day (14/Dec/2012). Dianne promised to get back to me on Tuesday 17/Dec/2012. Over a month later, I have not heard from her or her team. I sent emails requesting a response on several occasions (20/Dec/2012, 7th and 18th Jan. 2013). An agreement is binding, do they expect you to abide by the agreement and yet they can pick and choose what portions of the agreement to honour? They need to sort this out! I am moving back to Standard Bank who are honest & responsive!!
