First National Bank
Suspicion of my signature

I want to lay a complain about a consultant by the name of Shirley Nel in Church Square Branch, PTA . At about 12:15, 09 Nov 2013 I was helped by Shirley with the replacement of a cheque card as it was damaged. She asked me for my signature for verification, which afterwards she claimed they were not matching to the one on the system. I made three attempts of which they were unsuccessful as she said. She, then said she was going to scan my new signature of which I didn't understand because that is the same signature I use everywhere even at that branch and everywhere else and I even showed her my drivers licence with the same signature and she didn't even pay attention to it. At first the charge for the replacement of a card was communicated with me by the consultant (Phuti) that I was going to pay R70.00, of I agreed to it. When she (Shirley) was busy helping me and after she had finished she then said an amount of R70.00 & R120.00 was going to be charged for delivery of the card and that is when I became puzzled that instead of explaining the procedures of a card replacement and its charges she jumped to her suspicious ways of my signature. I felt so cheap and undermined by the Bank
