Today I went to the Branch to close my account and forward notice funds to another Bank. And to my surprise I was told that I need to pay R110 to close the account, Never heard of such utter Rubbish before and as if that is not pathetic enough, you charge me an additional R30 to make the deposit. After using FNB for more than a decade I've never ever been so disgusted by the treatment I receiverespecially the past two weeks. And the consultant was so naive by proudly saying that your charges are the lowest. FYI, I went to another bank and was assisted by a Banker, who actually took time to look at my profile and offer me a suitable package, a service I never received from FNB? For R89 PM, I get free payment notification, one free cash deposit a month, free cash withdrawals, a garage card and all my debit orders are free. Best of all, a personal service. The investment service allows me 24hr notice acces to my funds and the interest rate is much better than yours. I was shocked to find that you charge R8.50 fo4 eWallet, something you fail to mention in your adverts. You treated me like a criminal or a high risk client, even after so many years. Thank goodness for Competition.
