Handing over an account that is paid in full

We've had our motor vehicle finance with Absa. The account was settled in 2010. We've received a letter from Absa stating that the account was paid in full and that they have no interest in the vehicle anymore from 17 March 2010 along with the registration papers. The Camry is registered in our name now. Since then we've been contacted 4 times regarding this account and money has been taken from our bank account. Every time we had to make a lot of calls and send through all the documentation to get the money back. And yet again BD Attorneys called us again regarding this settled account today (7 Nov 2013)!!! This is really pathetic service.
