He received an sms on Thurs, 31 October, 19:23pm, stating:
"CAPITEC BANK: MR KHIBA YOUR INCONTACT SERVICE HAS EXPIRED HOWEVER THE CONSULTANT WILL BE CALLING SHORTLY TO UPGRADE IT"

The next morning all his money was gone!!! He phoned the bank and was told that his money was taken through internet banking. His Ref.10384590. He was told to open a case with the police and then go to the bank so they can investigate the case.

The police did not want to open a case, they say the bank must deal with their own cases. He went to the Roodepoort branch, they gave him a new Ref. 10388574. They said they will investigate, it will take /- 10 days and then /- 7 working days to pay the money back.

The problem is this: He has to pay rent, child support, accounts, transport to and from work, and buy food... He CANNOT wait 3 weeks to get his money back!!!

Please can someone help resolve this matter URGENTLY?? It is negligent of Capitec that someone can access your bank account and leave you without a cent!!! I also see a lot of similar incidents reported on Hello Peter, which tells a story of its own...
