I'm very upset and disappointed with the pathetic customer service from STD. I have applied for a bond with Standard bank. It is now almost 6 months and the property is still not registered. I'm the one phoning the bond attorney's, the transfer attorneys and the agent, 2 enquire what the status is, and each time the reply is another week another day. I received an sms notifying me that the property was lodged 23/10/13, today the 5th Nov 2013.. Bond is still not registered. I'm in the streets with my family because I already gave notice and I needed 2 b out of the property by the 1 Nov 2013. The ironic part is the insurance have already been deducted but I have no home to live in. We have been notified today that it will take another week or maybe the following week. What is going on? I was informed that it takes 10 days for lodgement. Today is the 10th day, no emails, feedback informing us what is going on. Me and my family are out in the streets and STD Bank could not be bothered about me and my family's well being.. It seems to me no one knows what they are doing and giving us the run around.
