Yesterday I was at the door of Standard Bank in Vangate Mall Cape Town at 09:00 sharp to deposit a Nedbank Cheque into my savings account. Knowing that it will take some time to clear I asked the Teller in question: USER C702167 if we can do an emergency clearance on this deposit. She informed me it will cost -R95 to which I agreed. I checked my account today and upon inquiring with the Customer Contact Center I was advised that not only was the R95 not applied to the account it will now take 10 WORKING DAYS for the cheque to CLEAR. THANK YOU STANDARD BANK.
