Provided Computershare via registered mail on the 8th JULY 2013 regarding the sale of a few Sanlam shares Inherited. Requested a Reconciliation as no dividends paid out for about 10 years. I have had the runaround now for months. Everyone you speak to there has a different requirement. I was originally told this would take about 10 working days to resolve. Then there was missing documentation, they supplied it to me via email. I completed and return mailed it, no response until I pursued it to find that it was incomplete, they hadn't emailed me all the docs required, nor did they advise accordingly until I contacted them. I have complained and expressed my frustrations, and since I complained I have been ignored. My emails now returned with the notice; "Automatic reply, I am currently out of office from the 28st Aug 2013 until on the 28th Aug 2013"?! This in November!! My feeling is that they do not want to sell the shares, if they mess you around long enough, you'll just it walk away in frustration. 10% of shares bought back by Sanlam, They do not pay interest on that, nor on the dividends not paid out! I'm told that's not Legal.
