I woke up at 4am on Monday 28 October 2013 to find that just over half my salary had been drawn from an "international" atm in the UK, I immediately called to cancel my card. At 8:30am I went to the ABSA branch in Fourways to report the case, I filled in all the relevant paper work and was told I would be contact the same day or the next day with more information about my case... Its Thursday now and I have not had any form of communication regarding my case from the bank.

Im a young mother and the bread winner in my household, I don't have money lying around to replace the money that was from me, neither do I have anyone to borrow money from until they resolve my case. I have debit orders bouncing, which are now causing me to incur even more costs as I would now have to pay fine for every bounced payment. How do I pay my rent, my sons school fees... Or even buy food to feed my family???

What am I supposed to do?? Im not rich and survive from pay cheque to pay cheque... Does the bank not insure my money? I want my money now... I don't have 1 week - 3 months to wait for it.

ABSA you and are the reason why my family cannot survive this month... Well done!
