A while back i applied for an overdraft after some time i cancelled it because i did not need it anymore. little did i know i was going to be barred from using the facility for closing it, when i queried it i was told since i closed it i should wait 6 months before i could apply for it of which it was more than since months when i needed to use it again. i was told the reason why i am declined was because my account had gone to a minus while i was using the facility, Truth be told that was not true. so i went to the other branches to clarify i mean the last thing you would want to hear is you in arrears with the bank. then i was told that there is a system blockage code on my profile and the consultant could not remove it. i have been to 3 different banks in two provinces nobody has helped me. Emalahleni's managers called me stating they are trying to help but it seems nobody succeeded since nobody called me. i have spoken to two consultant telephonic-ally everyone promises to call the following day and guess what? they do not call back. i guess should i be in desperate need to use my overdraft facility i will be declined further more..Wow
