I applied for a personal loan to consolidate some debt as I am a proud owner of a house. I have submitted all required documents on 25 Jan 2013. I had to go to the bank for statements. I skipped one month but saw this so I incl. Internet copies for that month which was stamped when my bank had problems. I was told to obtain a set that was not from the internet. I took time off work to get this stamped. I then was told that my proof of residence was not right. I purchased the house in Nov '12 my bond was register on 15 Nov 2012. I have a new acc. with Tshwane municipality, I have only that as proof of residential address & a letter from attorneys of bond reg. I was then told that the muncipality was sufficient providing I go to a branch and have the docs fica'd. FNB Fox Str - the consultant was unsure she had my id and attorneys letter and proof of Tshwane acc. Her manager refused to stamp the letters and change my address on Hogan which is now incorrect & not Fica'd. I showed them the sms from Tshwane with acc and amount & that they will post my acc. FNB FOX Branch refused to Fica me, they dont know what is legal and what not? FNB will lose customers. FNB wasted my time.
