Impossible to apply for a loan

We are trying to apply for a debt consolidation loan at FNB. We bank with FNB, and one would expect to be treated well enough in order to remain a happy customer, but the way we are treated makes it look as though FNB could not care less. We applied online for a consolidation loan, but received an error message, stating they would call us. They called, but not for that, merely to upgrade our checque account - not at all the purpose for which we wanted contact. The 0860 no on the internet is not accessible from a cell phone - unacceptable. We tried to get hold of the branch and the RELATIONSHIP MANAGER put us through to the loan department - with no response on the other side of the phone line!! ALL WE WANT IS TO GET HOLD OF SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP US - WHAT MORE DO WE NEED TO DO??? I am seriously considering taking my banking to another bank! And according to the advertising by FNB they do everything well???
