I must say I regret opening accounts with Absa, I have used Absa from 2008 (when I was an employee) and after i left I decided to stick with. I had a savings account and I must say Absa only thinks of themselves not their customers. I moved to cheque account 2 months ago and when i went to apply for overdraft I was attended by Thabiswa who I must say treated me like a nobody and told me even before attempting that they do not approve temps, funny how y allow temps to open accounts but when it comes to helping people that have banked with u guys its a story. While doing the application I got an sms that overdraft was provisionally approved but Thabiswa told me that her and her manager do not approve if you have a default yearrrs ago which I paid thru attorneys, so she DECIDED not to go through with it. I went to Jabulani and asked about it and was told that the applictaion had a WITHDRAWN status, funny how I never withdrew from it but that how she captured it. Even if I was not goinf to be approved but I feel she should have tried and waited for the outcome, but she acted like she has nevr had debt and indirectly told me that Im not good enough for Absa. Im moving thanx Absa
