Won't renew my credit cards

I called Nedbank a month ago in order to renew my credit cars that will be expiring in January. The reason for me renewing my cards is because i will not be in the country to renew them, and would like to have them with me in case of an emergency. 2 weeks after i first placed the call, i get a call back saying that they are only able to renew the cards within 3 months of the expiry. they said they would speak to management and get back to me. I never heard back. Today i went to 2 different branches and called the card division again, now i get an answer that i cant renew the cards, but will have to pay R700 to get them sent to me. This is rediculous! I am in the country now, and requested my cards a month ago as i am leaving on the 1st of nov. Now they tell me there is nothing they can do. Every computer is able to get overriden with the right credentials! Their lack of response has also left me unable to scure a different account with a different bank! And now i must also pay R855 to the bank and provide them with a motivational letter as to why i will be using my card abroad> SInce when was south africa a communist state. I am absolutely fuming!!!
