I just received an sms saying I should phone 0861498468 because my cheque account requires an urgent deposit, I phoned the number and spoke to one of your consultant who advised me that my salary was paid on the 23/10/2013 which is yesterday, and I told him that's untrue my salary was paid into my account on the18/10/13 because the 20th which is my pay date was on Sunday, he then apologised and said the salary he is referring to is an amount of R21033.36, I then said to him there was a sum of R3500.00 that was deposited into my account yesterday the 23/10/13, so the total balance of my account should be R24533.63 he then continued to tell me my account was in arrears and it's up to date now, and the current available balance is R2000.00, when I asked what happened to the money he told me I had an overdraft and the system paid the overdraft without me authorising it, how is that even possible? Why would the system take my money without my authorization? Unfortunately the line got cut off and I didn't get my answers, I am very angry with Standard bankthat money was not deposited into the account to pay the overdraft it is for a purpose which is matter of life and death, your service disgust me
