I phoned today 2013-10-23 the call centre. I phoned on behalf of my father who struggles to hear. He asked that I find out how he should fica to unfreeze the account. I do understand that I could not get any info regarding his account because I do not have any powers of attorney. The problem I have is that when I asked them which documents are needed to FICA the person on the other hand point blank refused to tell me which documents are needed by Sanlam! I went to Sanlam website and got the necessary information! Please ensure that your all centre people understand what is needed from them and that they should not refuse such a simple request.
