I know why it is that i closed by Absa account, and if they were the last bank left i would rather hide my money under a mattress. Over the course of last weekend i paid money into the Absa account that was closed in 2010 in error. Needless to say i have been trying to have this money refunded and spoken to countless useless individuals - who either tell me to call 0860 333 340 or 0860 669 669 - press this option and the next - the past part of this all - i am currently holding on for 10 minutes now for someone to answer... unfortunatley i have run out of characters and wit.
