My card got swallowed on the 19th October 2013 by the machine as usual with standard bank ATMs and quickly R5000 was withdrawn by a person we don't know.
A lot of monies was also withdrawn from this account including grocery payments were made. I realised this by getting an SMS on the morning of Saturday the 20th October 2013.
My wife went to the bank in Kempton park and was told that only myself the cardholder can open a case of and report the.
I went top the Mosselbay branch on Tuesday and I was given the phone to talk to a so-called specialist who was not even interested in hearing me.
A guy called Romano Rutters even cut /dropped the phone. I waited for another 30 minutes to be connected and I had to insist in talking to his Manager. Eventually he grudgingly put me through to Shane Rerumal who also came as if he was recorded because he was just interested in telling me that he cannot open a case for me because my wife was using the card.
I did however explain that it has been reported in past media sources that the were working with bank staff maybe that is the reason they did not want to take my case.
I have since moved my salaries form STD Fraudters
