UNPAID SHORTFALL

I have been a client of Santam for almost 2 years, I got into an accident to which I claimed for. During the process, it was advised that my cover amount was less that the money owed to the bank (short fall). Santam is refusing to pay the short fall to Absa even though this short fall cover was not offered to me. I have requested calls where I was allegedly asked about the cover but the manager Chamita is not sending them. One consultant whoo started being helpful Portia Nyamende contacted me to say she had listened to the calls and taht she can confirm that I was never offered the cover and that the amount would be paid to Absa. She requested contact details for the bank which I provided and was sent the short fall amount. A week later I find out that Absa is not paid and upon my investigation I speak to the manager Chamita at Santam who has been very unhelpful and downright dismissive. She refuses to acknowledge that Portia had agreed that the money will be paid as the short fall cover was not offered to me. I am not being called back, I have sent countless emails and all the while I need this to be sorted so as the bank is paid and I can buy a new car!
