Private Clients - expected much more!

I was given the option to upgrade my Platinum Cheque account to a Private Clients account which I accepted.
Then the message said someone will contact me, which has not happened. I see on my online banking a card has already been issued. Now that I have become a Private Client I see all the complaints there is about this, and people having to wait months for the cards etc.?? Why do you offer this "prime" service is it is so poor?? FNB use to have excellent service, but i'm afraid they have fallen far behind the other banks, maybe I should rather change banks then update accounts?? Very disappointed.
