An amount of R200 plus bank charges of R46.30 have been deducted from my cheque account, saying that it was a manual transfer. I have never seen this and have never transacted within a branch - I do all my banking online. First I phoned the line - they couldn't assist me. Then I went into the Menlyn Maine branch - they could also not help me, but assisted me with someone over the phone - she escalated my problem and said that the problem should be resolved within 2/3 working days. Yesterday (12 days later) I received a call form someone at FNB, asking whether my problem had been resolved - I told her that nothing has been done about the situation and she said that I will have to go back to the branch. My patience is running out. I do not have the time to go in to the bank.
