Delayed processing of nominated account change req

Last week tuesday the 8th October 2013 i phoned fnb homeloans informing them to change the nominated account on our flexi bond as we needed to withdraw. I completed a Nominated Account change request form since the nominated account is an absa account and sent it back on Wednesday the 9th October 2013.Thursday i phoned to check if the form was received, i was told they cannot assist i must try after 24 hrs Ok fine.i phoned again on Friday the 11th October 2013 the consultant told me to check after 5 days she advised me to call on monday. Monday i phoned and was told the changes should reflect the following day.later that same monday 14th October 2013 i received an sms from fnb informing me that my husband has to sign the form as well since it's a joint account, Fine we did that and sent the form back to fnb immediately. Before we sent the form we phoned fnb to check whether they will lodge the application as a new one or continue where they left off, consultant said they'll continue we won't wait another 7 days. Today i'm told wait another 7 days as the request was lodged yesterday 15 October.we need that money urgently. Why lodge the request as a new application after we already waited.
