I opened an account with Standard bank, with the Ucount option. I did my application for that online and requested the card to be posted to me. After the promised 21 days, no card yet. In the meantime I was informed by Tyger Manor that a savings account will be opened in my name to transfer the Ucount benefits to. I again made inquiries about the card, was promised that another card will be posted to me, again have to wait 21 days. I received a call from the branch to ask if they can take R50 from my cheque account to activate the savings account, permission was given, but after 3 months, no account as yet on my record and no card received as yet. I in the meantime asked them to sent me a new card to the branch on 29 September. Received an e-mail saying a new card will be sent to the member within 21 working days. This cannot go on like this. How many 21 days are we going to have before I get my card. I did ask to sent it to the branch while they confirmed it will be posted to me. Surely they can see I do not receive it via post and the next best thing is to sent it to the branch.
