We took out a insurance policy when i bought my Polo tdi 1.9 Polo classic almost two years ago. Now my car broke down and all that Mcsure is able to pay out is a little R3500. The total bill from VW McCarthy is R21000. When i declined the quote from VW they then gave me a bill of R2900 for strip and quote!! I phoned McSure to ask if they can't cover the strip and quote fee, they refused. So much for taking out the policy. At the end of the day VW made R2900 for strip and quote... Will never take out any insurance when buying a vehicle at McCarthy again. I haven't even touched on how bad the service was at Witbank Mccarthy.
