Failure to advise customer - lack of knowledge

I called the premier banking department at the begining of sept to enquire if the are any atms in the alberton area where i could draw an excess of 3k as most machines had a 3k limit. I was advised on my remaining free withdrawals & that i will be charged for the additional withdrawals.
i contacted FNB a week ago to enquire about an additional charge on my account, i was given an explanation but i was also told had i withdrew money at a pick n pay atm whilst shopping my charges wouldve have been less. why didnt the first consultant give me that advise? the consultant went ahead and said she will try to request that the additional charges be reversed!
i spoke to my dedicated banker a few later she was dismayed at the fact that a consultant could say that to me or even assume that charges could be reversed! wow so much so for service or politeness! she referred me to the pricing guide!
NOT on FNB - train your people! Further premier banking isnt worth the status if the consultants are ill informed! Double charges aint on!
i was charged R20.25 per withdrawl plus an additional R96 odd rand the additional withdrawals.
