FAILING TO REVERSE DOUBLE CHARGE

On Sunday, 6 October 2013, I bought shoes at Tekkie Town Jeffreys Bay. I paid with my FNB cheque card. At the time I paid Tekkie Town was offline with the bank and did the transaction manually. After arriving home I got 2 sms's from my bank, FNB, informing me of my transaction at Tekkie Town - TWICE! I checked my account and was indeed charged TWO times for the same transaction. I immediately phoned Tekkie Town and spoke to the manager, Mrs B Maree. She informed me that the error was made by ABSA and that it will be corrected within the next two hours...
Nothing happened... On Monday, 7 Oct, Mrs Maree send a fax to ABSA (of which I obtained a copy) requesting ABSA to reverse the the transaction urgently. In this request she stated that she did speak to ABSA consultant Tshepiso who confirmed that the transaction went through twice. Also on this fax is the original auth. code AS WELL as a AUTH NO for the reversal!!!
According to Mrs Maree she phoned them almost everyday this week and yet nothing happened.

Today is FRIDAY - a whole week gone!!! And yet the money is still not available for me to use for other obligations!!! THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, SAD AND STINKS!!!
