INCOMPETENT STAFF!!

I opened an FNB account around May last year at the Centurion Branch with Jeffrey Gericke. I had gotten married a few months before and had changed my name (maiden surname became my middle name). This was obviously too much for Jeffrey to comprehend and he opened the account with my old middle name and new surname. After too many back and forths I accepted the cards as they arrived. I decided today to go and change my details as I changed my banking details at SARS but forsee a problem there due to the difference in names. I have been told I have to go to home affairs, pay R75 and wait 6-8 weeks for the letter of confirmation, section 24. All because some twit couldn't do his job properly! I cannot even close my account which I really want to do now as there is a difference in name! Absolutely pathetic!!
