I have never received such awful service in my life. FNB have not responded to my initial complaint submitted last week about debiting R8500 from my account without contacting me. How dare they debit for a student loan account that they said they had handed over. I have called in twice today to close my cheque account with them and the first lady I spoke to said she had closed it, only to realise later that it was still active. The next consultant confirmed that the account was still open and that I have to pay R97 to close it.
