My fahter has a business account with Standard bank. Yesterday his employee was instructed to cashed a cheque at Standard Bank Mall@Reds, when the employee returned, he was followed by 3 armed men, my father and his other employees were held up and robbed of the money and their personal belongings, the armed robbers knew exactly which pocked the money was in and the amount of money that the cheque was cashed for. This is not the first incidient, a year ago My fathers business partner's wife and daughter were also follwed to the office after cashing a cheque from Standard bank Mall @ Reds, once again the armed robbers knew the amount of money that was cashed.
When my mother contacted the Standard bank Mall @ Reds informing them of the incident, they rtold her that it is not the first incident reportd.
In my opinion, this is an inside job, and the Standard bank tellers are the ones responsible, because they are the only ones that know the exact amount the cheques were cashed for, and if Standard bank is aware of this, why have they not done anything about it? Have all tellers been polygraph tested? this is procedure, has the incident reports been given to the investigators?
