Follow up on my query

This is a follow up on my mother's query and incident that happened on the 20 April 2013. She did get a call from Absa on 4 October 2013 advising her that they will at least pay her a certain amount but now the problem is, she was told to go to her branch and she did go today i.e. 8 October 2013 and explained to the consultants there but to her suprise the Absa staff in Plaza branch in Umtata they dont even know their head office contact number to follow up on this querry. They are asking my mother (63 years old) for the number??? I really dont know what to say or to do about this. I am in JHB and my mother leaves in Eastern Cape and to walk up and down in her age is not something I like. I wish someone can resolve this fast. What happened to humanity in this country???
