Illegal debti - card cancelled but no refund

On the 1st of October 2013 there was a debit on my card for R351. i called the same time to dispute this as i was at home and my card was debited. i asked for my cad to be cancelled and the amount to be reversed to my account. The lady that helped assured me this. My card has been cancelled, but the money not reversed... HOW IS THIS
