First National Bank
False information to upgrade credit card

I received a call from I would imagine the FNB sales department 11/09/2013. Informing me that I could be legible for an upgrade of my credit card providing I pass the criteria. The lady asked me a few questions and then put my profile forward to see if I was legible for an upgrade. She then came back to say that I had passed the criteria and that I WAS eligible for an upgrade from gold to platinum. I was also legible for an increase of my credit facilities. She then requested which branch that the new card should be sent to. I told her Musgrave Durban Branch. I then received an sms with a reference number SI2013090911659. I was informed that it would take 3 to 4 working days for the card to be delivered.by 01/10/2013 I had not heard anything so I decided to contact the number given in the sms 011 3692800. I was then transferred to 3 different departments and then was cut off. I then phoned back again and demanded that my query be attended to on the first call. The ladies name was Khulekile Ngcobo. She then informed me that there was no record of an upgrade of card but increase of credit facilities only. I then was sent an email reference RV13093063788. No response as yet!
