Account Settled and still taking debit orde

We traded our car in during the course of September and the existing policy with MFC was settled on the 16th of September 2013. Month end they deducted the installment and short fall policy for the car that was settled.

MFC advised they never received proof of payment or that the money reflects, we obtained the proof of payment from the dealership, forward to MFC on the 02/10/13 @ 09h00. During the course of the day I phoned to confirm that they have received it and while holding they advised on their message that with the email we used we will get a resonse within 24 hours. (Yeah right, still waiting)

On hold 4 more than half an hour to be told that at the moment nothing shows on the system and unable to confirm with relevant department, I need to phone next day.
Next day I phoned again, on hold for more than half an hour to be advised that as soon as they receive the letter they will action. Not good enough and demanded to speak to the necessary dept. She didn't had the contact details and asked me to hold. Came back saying I can phone tomorrow to follow up.

Seriously, doesn't anybody know customer service anymore and can anyone tell me when am I getting my refund!!
