Still listed in Arears a year after settling

I had an overdraft facility that was overdrawn, arrangements were made and the outstanding balance was paid off. That specific cheque account with Nedbank was then closed.

On applying for a loan i was declined because of the overdrawn account still being listed as unpaid.

I have lodged a query with the Legal department on this but still have yet to hear anything from them 2 days later.

Please explain to me how after a year of being paid up I am still listed as defaulting on it?
