I've requested numerous times that my std bank cheque acc be closed over the last year. was told by a consultant that all was done, just to receive a call in last month asking why the acc isn't been used??? now with a outstanding amount because of monthly service fees going off. their response with every secure msg I send... investigation must been done, matter is been handed over to a team leader, come into the bank... SAME STORIES OVER AND OVER. why is it so easy to open a acc but they will sure as NOT close it??? pathetic customer service, and now im made out to be the bad one because I refuse to pay for the service fees due to their incompetence! CLOSE MY ACC AND THEN INVESTIGATE WHY YOUR CONSULTANTS HAVENT DONE THEIR JOB. AND THEN SEND THEM FOR SERVICE TRAINING.
