Do not trust your private banker from call centre

On the 23rd Aug at 9:19am i called STD bank to see if i can transfer money from my revolving credit to current acc. After all security checks and system checks, My Prestige banker had confirmed that she has done all the checks and will send it off to credit. she confirmed it sent off and said i would be able to do the transfer after 24 hours. I confirmed that i am able to do it at a ATM? and she said yes. After 24hr and STUCK in Pretoria found out i cannot do the transfer. The call centre could do nothing about it either on Saturday as no authorised person was avalible. Having traveled up the day before from East London to Pretoria i was very upset as confirmation came from the bank. making a plan & loaned money from family i made it back to EL. Monday 26 i phoned again to find out what happened to discover nothing was proccesed. then the next day flag by the banks and said declined. I carried on persuing it on principle that it was confirmed. eventually told that a manager will look into the calls and phone me back. WELL its the 2nd October 35 DAYS LATER and still havent heard from the manager and still not able to transfer my money.
