I draw money from an auto teller machine at Centurion Lifestyle Centre about 2 months ago on a Friday afternoon. The dispenser closed on the money and 1 x R100 note got stuck. The security tried toe help me to get the note out of the machine with no luck. There were still people in the bank at Centurion Lifestyle Centre, but they were not willing to help or assist. The Security guy of the bank said I must tear the R100 note off and bring it in the next morning and they will refund my R100. I phoned my private banker and he confirmed that. I did that and the Saturday morning the lady at the branch took all my particulars and said she will phone me that same day with feedback. Needless to say that i haven't received a phone call from her ever since. I took it up with my private banker. He came back with an answer that they will refund me R50 because they can't find the other half of the note. This is not acceptable at all.
