Unable to access credit balance on home loan a/c

I have a Standard Bank Access Bond, which is linked to a Standard savings account. I have long since paid off the bond, however a credit balance built up on the account to the tune R1500.00, when I found out I went to the ATM to transfer it across to my savings account, only to find I could not complete the transaction. I subsequently found out that the access facility is rescinded once you reach the five year mark remaining on your loan period, no notification of any kind, this I had to find out by phoning the contact centre. I have dealt with so many people over the last few weeks, that I cannot remember them all, except for a few that really stick out, like Rita Chamberlain a senior manager who said words to the effect that I could just go ahead and lodge a complaint with Hello Peter, after I had previously threatened to do so out of sheer frustration. The complaint now sits with Joop Dekker from whom I have received nothing but empty promises, missed deadlines and 'out of office' notifications, and to crown it all, an SMS informing that my complaint has been closed, my thanks for never missing a payment and paying off my debt years in advance.
