Pathetic today, Pathetic tomorrow, so now I'm here

I have been struggling with ABSA and their Retirement benefits department for the last 4 months and I now had enough!!

I worked at the SA Mint, who has a Group scheme pension and provident fund with Absa (which AIIMS deny over and over - so what the are they doing with the money then???).

In my last email (the 4th one now, not to mention countless calls), I was told in a very rude manner that I do not have any retirement funds with ABSA.

Its been 2 months now since I wanted and needed to move that money into a private investment, since it is earning NO interest at the moment and I cannot make a contribution each month.

I wanted to stay with ABSA, but with such pathetic service, I am moving.

Provide me with the details of the Director of this department - and if I do not have a balance of my fund by the end of Thursday, I will take further action - thats the only way companies "listen" these days

The people I contacted were Bronwyn de Klerk (she at least replied) and Motsumi Patrick

I am now contacting Discovery to now invest my money at - cant think that there's worse service than what I received from ABSA

Again-It is the Group Pension and Providnt scheme of the SA Mint
