I took out Top Up Cover for my car With Hollard. My car was written off and my insurance (IWYZE) did not pay the full outstanding amount. I was told that the TOP UP COVER will cover any excess or interest owing on the car in the event of it being written off. I HAVE TO an amount of approx R11 000 to pay the car off! Hollard tells me they will not pay a cent, I am paying a premium every single month, what for??? Can they give back the amount of money that I have paid so far since they can't pay off the shortfall! I was totally mislead when taking out this cover and I strongly suggest to anyone who is insured with Hollard to please reconsider or ensure that what you are paying for is what you are going to get. I call them everyday no one has a better answer as to why then cant pay off the balance of the car. Their consultants are very rude! All I have to say is that HOLLARD INSURANCE ARE...
