Failure to make client awarehave an account with f

Have an account with Furnisher city and Afrikan bank works with furnisher city by giving the clients financial assistance. When I took the account I requested that my account be debited on the 25 of each month. Last year december2012 african bank debited my account on the 14 December2012 which is not the debit order date that we agreed upon. Due to this I had to pay returned debit order on my bank account. Now afrikan bank is informing me that I have missed my december payment, which I believe it was not my fault. Now they are telling me that my account is in arrears so my account debit order will be debited with an extra amount of above R500. This is money that I have not budgeted for. I have spoken to people (afrkan bank and they told me that I should have known that all their clients acconts get debited early. I feel that what Afrikan bank did to me is unfair and not legal at all.
