Lying to client, just to get a contract signed

Good day

I have a personal loan with Nedbank, due to financial pressure I got behind with my payments. They put a default on my name on itc stating I refuse to pay. Nedbank phones and said what we can do, we can make a new contract of an arrangement and what we do is that we take the money you are behind with add it to what you still owe and put all together so that you are not behind and you agree to pay the monthly payment. I said ok we met at one of there branches, a lady of joburg came and I asked her clearly that this contract that I am signing WILL REPLACE THE OLD CONTRACT? she said yes I asked when I sign this and make the first payment then I am not behind with money anymore and will be seen as up to date? she said yes. I asked so in that case you can take off my default on my name at itc because I am not behind anymore I am paying? she said yes. now the whole story AFTER I SIGNED changed and NEDBANK said no this is not true your default will stay on your name unchanged. So I asked how can that be if I signed a new contract? Nedbank still have my old contract on the system the new one is not even updated. so its like I did not even signed a new one. I need action urgent
