I met up in an accident with a client of affinity insurance on the 23/11/2013. this guy had been driving in the opposite direction, of traffic and knocked us head on. my car was totaled and we all got out with minor injuries. my car was towed to a tow yard and i was advised by the client that his insurance would sort everything out. i ended up calling this guy every week until finally i got his insurance name, i found their contact details, and gave them a call, i was advised that the client opened up a case against me and my brother in law for assault. when i asked them about whats happening with me car, a lady by the name of Kirsten Van Staden who was handling this claim advised me that they are waiting for blood tests and this will only take 3-6 months, and only after that they will have a look at my claim. when i advised her that i need my car to get to work, and that it was their clients fault that my car was totaled, she told me that i have to go to a small claims court and sort it out. until today my car is still sitting in the tow yard and i cant get it out, the storage is over R40000, and this insurance company still hasnt gotten back to me.
