I notified FNB on the 12/04/2013 that I was been retrenched and that my last day would be on the 30/4/2013, No action was taken so I contacted FNB on the 16/05 and sent the requested documentation,
I then resent the above plus the company retrenchment letter on the 17/05
I then saw that nothing had been done as my normal premium was taken off on the 30/05.
I then contacted FNB on the 30/05 and emailed all the documentation to he advised that the letter that I had sent on the 17/05 had never been processed and that he would be resubmitting it.
I received no Further communication and my monthly installments were stopped.
When informed FNB loans on the 06/09 that I had resumed worked and that I would resume normal payments, they requested when would be settling my arrears, I informed the consultant that I had submitted documentation to activate the retrenchment insurance.
On the 16/09 I received a sms from FNB stating that my loan account has been reported to the credit bureau for bad conduct.
I submitted all the required information via email and my transaction history shows "Reset Loan status"(30 May) and my installments stopped
