Useless Call centre

I work long hours and find it difficult to get to a branch. About a month ago i got a new cell number. I called the FNB call centre and requested they change my contact details as i would no longer use my old number. i spent almost 40 min on the phone with them. I wanted to make some payments yesterday and realised that the call centre agent did not change the number for the one time pin. so i could not make the neccesary payments becose the call centre agent could not be bothered to do her job and change all my numbers as i requested her to do. what is the use of a call centre if nothing works
