Not willing to honor the exchange rate

Having asked ABSA to release my awaiting funds, the delay in the release amounted to a loss of some R450 due to the changing of exchange rates between the period I requested the transfer to occur and when the bank actually released the funds 8 days later.

Furthermore, nobody from the responsible division has come back to me with an apology, reason or any sort of feedback. This has been over two weeks, when they say that normal turnaround for queries is 48 hours.

This has left me out of pocket and out of trust, and will find someone else who listens and acts on it's customers' requests and the promises the bank claim.
